SNL's Jewess Jeans Commercial

In this commercial from 1980, SNL spoofs the JAP and her desire for all things designer, cheap and stylish. Gilder Radner stars as the ultimate "Jewess", the "Jewess in Jewess Jeans."

From My ARHA: Modern Art Since 1945 Reading

This was in my art history text book about Robert Rauschenberg about Rembrandt's The Jewish Bride.
"However delicate her face and serious her expression, The Jewish Bride has an ass. You can tell. She can raise her skirt at any moment. She can sit down, she has what it takes."
-- Jean Genet, "What Remains of a Rembrandt Torn in Four Equal Pieces, and Flushed Down the Toilet"

SNL's Videos of the Week

Just wanted to make sure everyone caught SNL's video clips this week. They are pretty delectable! John Malkovitch hosted and even read "Twas The Night Before Christmas." My favorite clips by far were "J**Z In My Pants," a spoof on "D**K In The Box" and "9-Year-Old's Advice," an interview with 9-year-old book "author" Alec Greven, and Fred Armisen as Barack Obama "Playing it cool!"

Enjoy!
