From My ARHA: Modern Art Since 1945 Reading

This was in my art history text book about Robert Rauschenberg about Rembrandt's The Jewish Bride.
"However delicate her face and serious her expression, The Jewish Bride has an ass. You can tell. She can raise her skirt at any moment. She can sit down, she has what it takes."
-- Jean Genet, "What Remains of a Rembrandt Torn in Four Equal Pieces, and Flushed Down the Toilet"
